Back in October, I posted an update on the progress of my SSDI application. I was initially told I’d receive a determination in November. Well, that’s come and gone, so I decided to check in and see where things are at. via GIPHY Clearly, progress isn’t consistent in this process. There are stalls and delays and jumps. But with the time estimates being closer together (the month one is clearly incorrect, so let’s ignore that), it’s starting to feel like I’m in the home stretch. It’s been a rough while, and all my strength is going toward survival. I’m sorry that this means my blog has gone dark, but I plan on reviving it when I’m able.
Wow, what a year. I hope you party safely tonight. Raise one for me, because I’ll be asleep by 10pm as usual.
Let’s look back at my year in reading. Did I accomplish the goals I set about at the end of 2022, or did I fail to be a better reader?
So I took a week to play at Walt Disney World, and then I took a wee (holiday-themed) cruise to Nassau with my besties. November was my big happy month of the year.

I’ll be honest, I’m struggling a lot right now with my health issues and brain chemistry. But I still love October and spooky (and spoopy) themes.

Three-quarters through this year and sliding into a lovely Autumn. I, for one, can’t wait to leave summer behind. It seems the older I get, the more intolerant I become to heat.
